EBLI (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction) is a research-backed method that teaches reading, spelling, and writing by beginning with spoken language.

We use a speech-to-print model: your child’s natural ability to speak becomes the foundation for learning to read and write fluently.

EBLI’s goal is to help students reach “escape velocity”—just like a rocket needs enough speed to break free from Earth’s gravity and soar into space, students need to learn enough of the reading “code” to break free from relying on constant help and start learning on their own.

In practice, this means explicitly teaching the core concepts and about 10–20% of the code through carefully designed activities. Once students grasp these concepts with support, they quickly move to reading and spelling independently, gaining confidence and joy.
